Mount Farm Surgery goes green…

Patients may have noticed that we have recently had solar panels installed on the roof. The roof will now generate in the region of 15,000 kWh a year, which is approximately one quarter of our annual consumption. In the Spring, we plan to trim the trees on our driveway to maximise the yield from the roof. There are nearly 60 panels, each with its own micro-inverter which makes the installation as energy efficient as possible. We have also reduced our carbon footprint by installing low energy halogen lighting. Mount Farm Surgery is making its own contribution to a cleaner environment and sustainable energy sources!
