From October 2026, Mount Farm Surgery will use ANIMA as our online triage and patient contact system, replacing AccuRx.
What is Anima?
Anima securely links with your medical record and helps patients submit appointment, medical and administrative requests online. It enables the practice team to assess requests efficiently and direct you to the most appropriate healthcare professional based on clinical need and urgency.
How will it help?
- Faster and more efficient triage of requests
- Improved routing to the right clinician or team
- Secure communication linked directly to your record
- Easy submission of medical and administrative requests
Administrative requests can include:
- Sick notes
- Repeat prescription queries
- Requests for paid, non-NHS work such as letters/completion of forms/medicals
- Other routine administrative requests
Need support accessing Anima?
Patients who do not have internet access, have a disability, language barrier, are neurodivergent, or are experiencing a mental health crisis can still contact the surgery and our team will assist them.
IMPORTANT: Anima is NOT for urgent medical problems. For urgent help contact NHS 111, call 999, or attend A&E.
