Mount Farm Surgery have a new and exciting free app for patients, which allows quick and easy 2-way communications with the surgery.  Mjog Messenger is free to download, with no message costs.  It is easy to use, and allows more informative messages (compared to SMS) to be sent to patients.  The app provides a straightforward view of documents, including pdfs and letters, which the practice can send via the app.  This would mean that invitations for annual reviews and flu clinics could all be delivered via the app, with the patient being given the option to decline should they choose to do so.

Appointment reminders can also be sent via the app, with a ‘one click’ option for cancelling unwanted appointments.

There is also the facility to complete patient surveys and questionnaires, and provide ‘Friends & Family Test’ feedback.
