URGENT NOTICE – FLU CLINICS

You may have seen in the media that there are currently supply and distribution issues with the flu vaccine, meaning deliveries are being delayed. Unfortunately, despite having ordered our vaccine 12 months ago to guarantee our delivery window, Mount Farm is one of the thousands of surgeries across the country being affected by these delays. As a result of this, our vaccine will not arrive in time for our first 2 scheduled clinics on Saturday 25th and Monday 27th September. Cancelling surgeries at short notice places a huge administrative burden on the practice at a time when we are already incredibly busy and so this action is only ever taken if there is no option. We had over 1000 patients booked in across the 2 dates, and we have sent 1st class letters to those patients to inform them of this.

We can only apologise for the short notice and inconvenience this may cause, but hope that patients will understand that this situation is completely beyond our control.
