Travel Vaccinations

We will of course try and fit patients into our clinics, but would ask please for as much notice as possible - thank you.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. Patients are requested to complete and submit our on-line travel questionnaire before coming to see the nurse. The form can be accessed by the link at the bottom of this page. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travelto allow the vaccines to work.

Patient Services

 We are a small but friendly department within the surgery available to assist with all registration enquiries. We can provide you with all the information you need whether you are established in or planning relocation to our area.

We also provide the following additional services:-

• Patient database and change of details which includes births, deaths and marriages
• Patient records both incoming and outgoing
• Patient recall/invite letters and any relating queries
• Smear results, information and queries in conjunction with Suffolk Screening Services
• Pathology test results (between the hours of 2pm & 5pm Monday to Friday)
• Influenza recall/invite letters and any relating queries.

The department operates a voice mail service which enables patients to leave their name and telephone number when our lines are engaged so please leave your details and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
